My very first all natural bodybuilding competition was on October 16, 2010. Below are a few progress pictures as I moved from Obese Class One to Figure Competitor.
If I can do this, anyone can!
July 2000
This was my heaviest weight – size 20 and 220 pounds. No question in my mind that my husband married me for ME!

I’m in the midst of a metabolic rebuild and muscle growing phase. So not my ‘leanest‘, but definitely my ‘meanest‘ to date!

you were just as beautiful then as you are now, Donloree…don’t forget it
I remember your wedding…and you were radiant. I’m so proud of you for accomplishing what you set out to do. It’s inspiring for all of us girls xo
How did you get from A to B?? Did you start slow or dramatically change your lifestyle overnight?
I lost the weight over a few years, and then the past year I worked hard to go from 32% to 12% body fat and compete. It was not an overnight adventure, that’s for sure!
Oh man… I really am having a hard time getting my words together because, by reading about you and seeing your pictures, I am actually starting to believe that reducing my body fat and getting on a stage is possible for me! You’r pictures are nothing short of amazing, even without any health issues… I have goosbumps right now..
oops *goosebumps!
Wow! You are amazing! Keep inspiring us all. I have enjoyed reading about your journey. Sounds like a journey I have embarked on.
Thank you! I would LOVE to hear more about your journey. Embarking is one of the hardest parts! Way to go!!
Congratulations on your progress, I am impressed and motivated… Presently I am on a program that hopefully shed’s 50lbs and I can tell you it is so difficult every step of the way…
You should be proud, and your husband probably is pretty psyched even though I’m sure he loves you no matter what!
Congratulations on the weight loss journey! It’s awesome to go train hard and see results. I feel like if I can do this, anyone can!
You will have to keep me posted on your progress.
And yes, my husband has always just loved the heck out of me. He’s a total gift.
Hey! Wow awesome journey I would love to learn more about how you go into competing etc. I am down 98lbs so far and am toying with where to go from here!
Your progress pictures give me hope!
This is an amazing site, thanks for sharing you journey with us. You look amazing, such progress!
Thank you! Anything is possible. Are you on a fitness journey of sorts as well?
I am so glad my competitor friend Kathleen Bierney mentioned you!!! BTW, what’s a metabolic rebuild??
) Great site! Keep up the fantastic work!!!
Basically all of my endocrine hormones are screwy. I killed my body with stress for about 5 straight years of living unhappy, overeating, etc; then I went to competing and beat myself to death and had some underlying health issues. So basically it is a fancy term for ‘getting healthy’.
These are such inspiring pictures!
Thank you lady!
